Shelter Cove’s Latitude 55° North Restaurant is open for dinner from 5pm to a last seating around 8:30pm. You will be presented with a nightly menu of 6 to 8 options ranging from local seafood to professionally prepared beef, pork, chicken, salads and pasta. Each dish will have a unique flavor profile derived from a wide range of global influence.

Our full service restaurant bar features 3 beers on tap, a wonderful array of wines and everything needed for your favorite cocktail.

Walk-ins are welcome and we will seat you as soon as possible.

Shelter Cove Team

Shelter Cove Lodge has been owned by Linda since 1999. The enjoyment she found in hosting with a passion for Alaska and fishing were the primary reasons to own a fishing lodge. That reason transitioned into furthering the passion passed to Dave, her son. Dave began his lodge working career in 1996 at another lodge but was invited to help develop Shelter Cove. Dave Guided through his college years at Oregon State University and then took over operations. 25 years later, Dave has now served the Guests and Staff of Shelter Cove Lodge as General Manager and Host since 2006. Commitment to quality equipment, superior fish processing, friendly staff and customer satisfaction has made the lodge the premier destination in Southeast Alaska.
